What is 8TK Fleet?
8TK Fleet is fleet fuel management built for 2 to 20 truck fleets. Set your fuel policy by time of day, brand, and fuel type, approve override requests in one tap, and track spend and savings per driver, with savings up to 90¢/gal at 3,200+ truck stops. Everything runs from your phone.
Does 8TK Fleet require a credit check?
No. There's no credit check. We verify your business and identity when you sign up, and that's about protection, not approval. Business verification keeps you and your drivers safe from fraud.
How does 8TK Fleet's fee structure compare to zero-fee fuel programs?
Zero-fee programs make their money somewhere, usually a smaller discount. 8TK Fleet passes on all of the discounts our partners afford us to its customers and charges a 2.29% service fee for every transaction. There are no monthly card fees, no setup fees, no contracts. The fee buys real fleet controls zero-fee cards don't offer.
What is a fuel policy?
A fuel policy allows fleet operators to dectate how much fuel their drivers can purchase on a daily basis as well as where they can fuel. For example, you can set your fuel policy to allow for only 100 gallons of diesel and 10 gallons of DEF per day and only at Casey's and TA Petro locations. You can also specify what days of week and hours of the day.
Can drivers fuel outside of the fuel policy?
Yes. They do so by requesting an override. When they do, the fleet manager will recieve an immediate notification asking for approval. They can approve or reject the override. This allows fleets to avoid balooning fuel costs.
How quickly can I set up a 8TK Fleet account?
Majority of our fleet accounts are set up and ready to fuel same day or even hours. Once the business has been verified, setting up fuel policy and adding a payment method takes minutes.
How can I access my fleet data?
8TK Fleets is a mobile-only program. It has been designed and developed for the fast moving, no-nonsense, hungry fleet operator that wants everything at the palm of their hands. No more desktop portals or other clunky devices.
How quickly can my drivers start fueling?
Same day. You start by sending the driver an invite to the fleet from the 8TK app. They will recieve the invite immediately. All that remains is for them to download the 8TK app (link will be included in the invite), create an account and accept your invitation. This all this under 2 minutes.
